The Gallery of Maps (in Italian: Galleria delle carte geografiche) is a gallery located on the west side of the Belvedere courtyard, inside the Vatican Museums. It is a beautiful covered gallery with 40 maps painted on both sides, work of friar and geographer Ignazio Danti, commissioned by Pope Gregory XIII in 1580. On the ceilings, in the shape of a barrel vault, appear the saints of each region of Italy, and the miracles attributed to him.

La Galería de los Mapas (en italiano: Galleria delle carte geografiche) es una galería situada en el lado oeste del patio del Belvedere, dentro de los Museos Vaticanos. Es una bella galería cubierta con 40 mapas pintados a ambos lados, obra de fraile y geógrafo Ignazio Danti, por encargo del Papa Gregorio XIII en 1580. En los techos, en forma de bóveda de cañón, aparecen los santos de cada región de Italia, y los milagros que se le atribuyen.
