A blanket of clouds covers the sky, which ends up enveloping Lomagnupur, the huge 764-metre mountain that reigns in southern Iceland. The wind usually blows strongly in this area, as it is the first mountain barrier from the coast, located about 20 km to the south. It is visible from many miles around from Route 1, as it ends abruptly in a huge plain that make its rugged shape even more prominent. The contrast between the mountains and the plain and the trapped clouds, create a melancholic atmosphere in this beautiful Icelandic landscape.

Un manto de nubes cubre el cielo, que termina envolviendo Lomagnupur, la enorme montaña de 764 metros que reina en la zona sur de Islandia.
