"Memory IV Sketch" by Luis G Amor - Lugamor

Digital modification of one of my photographs, to simulate a pencil sketch.

On the road leading to El Torno, in the Jerte Valley, an artistic ensemble has been erected in a splendid viewpoint. It is made up of four human figures who want to remember the forgotten and victims of the Spanish Civil War and subsequent dictatorship. A few days after the inauguration of this monument of Francico Cedenilla, the figures were shot, but the author did not want to repair the damage, as unfortunately, gave more meaning to his work.

The Jerte Valley is located in the north of the province of Cáceres, in Extremadura. This valley, nestled between two mountain systems and formed by a dozen small villages, is known mainly for the cultivation of cherry. Every spring, about 1.5 million cherries bloom in unison, and the valley celebrates it with the cherry blossom festival.

"Memoria IV Boceto" por Luis G Amor - Lugamor

Modificación digital de una de mis fotografías, para simular un boceto a lápiz.

En la carretera que conduce a El Torno, en el Valle del Jerte, se ha erigido un conjunto artístico en un espléndido mirador. El monumento está formado por cuatro figuras que quieren recordar a las víctimas y víctimas de la Guerra Civil española y la posterior dictadura. Pocos días después de la inauguración de este monumento de Francis Cedenilla, las esculturas fueron tiroteadas, pero el autor no quiso reparar los daños, ya que lamentablemente, le daban más sentido a su trabajo.

El valle del Jerte está situado en el norte de la provincia de Cáceres, en Extremadura. Este valle, ubicado entre dos sistemas montañosos y un pequeño pueblo, es conocido principalmente por el cultivo de cerezas.
